Google Ads management for local businesses
We build or take over your campaigns, control which searches you pay for, and track which clicks become calls and booked jobs. You pay your ad spend directly to Google; our fee is the plan.
Where does a Google Ads budget go to waste?
In four places you can see inside the account: searches you’d never get a job from, location settings that reach people outside your area, ads running when nobody answers, and conversion tracking that isn’t recording.
None of these needs a guess. The search terms report, location options, ad schedule and conversion status are all on screen in Google Ads.
We check all four before changing a bid, then manage the account every week. The account stays in your name, and your ad spend goes straight to Google.
What can you check yourself this week?
Four checks in your own Google Ads account, about an hour in total, that show where money is leaking.
Step 1: Read your search terms report
In Google Ads, open Insights and reports, then Search terms. Set the last 30 days and sort by cost. Every term you’d never get a job from (“jobs”, “DIY”, a city you don’t serve) is a negative keyword to add.
30 minutesStep 2: Check conversions are recording
Go to Goals, then Conversions, then Summary. Look at the Status column. “No recent conversions”, “Inactive” or “Unverified” means the account can’t tell which clicks became calls or forms.
10 minutesStep 3: Check your location option
In each campaign, open Settings, then Locations, then Location options. “Presence or interest” can show ads to people outside your area. “Presence: people in or regularly in your included locations” limits ads to your service area.
10 minutesStep 4: Confirm you own the account
Open Admin, then Access and security. Your own email should be listed with Admin access. If only an agency’s email is, ask them to add you as an admin this week.

What does Google Ads Management include?
It includes the campaign build or takeover, weekly management of keywords, bids and ads, and the tracking that shows which clicks became leads.
Build or takeover
A clean campaign build, or a takeover that keeps what works. Call and form conversion tracking is set up before spend goes up.
Search terms and negatives
Keyword research, then the search terms report reviewed each week and negative keywords added for searches that will never become jobs.
Bids and budget
Bid and budget changes based on cost per lead from your own tracking, not clicks or impressions.
Ads that get tested
Ad copy written and tested against each other, with sitelink, call and location assets.
Targeting and schedule
Your service area and the hours someone can answer, not the whole state around the clock.
Click-fraud monitoring
Watching for junk and fraudulent clicks, excluding their sources, and requesting refunds from Google where they qualify.
Which plan includes it?
Plans from $3,000/month · fees only
Every plan includes ad management; the plan sets how many channels we run and how much ad spend the fee covers.
- Foundation · $3,000/moOne ad channel, usually Google Ads
- Growth · $4,000/moTwo channels: add Microsoft, Meta or Google Local Services Ads
- Scale · $6,000/moThree channels plus retargeting and competitor ad monitoring
How much ad spend does each plan cover?
Foundation covers up to $5,000 a month in ad spend on one channel, Growth up to $10,000 on two, and Scale up to $20,000 on three, each in one local market.
Above the cap
10% of the ad spend over the cap. Example: Growth with $14,000 in spend is $4,000 + 10% of $4,000 = $4,400 that month.
More markets
Each added market or state, for regional or national campaigns, is a one-time setup fee plus the same 10% on spend.
Other media
Influencers, billboards, radio and print are 10% of the media buy, or a fixed project fee.
Ad spend is never part of our fee. You pay Google, Microsoft or Meta directly.
Questions about Google Ads Management
Is ad spend included in your fee?
No. Ad spend is paid by you directly to Google (or Microsoft or Meta). Our plans are our fee only, and we set the budget with you based on your market and goals.
Who owns the ad account?
You do. The account is in your name and billed to your payment method; we work in it with manager access.
Why do you require conversion tracking?
Without it, nobody can say which clicks became leads, including us. It’s how we decide where your money goes and how we show results.
Can you take over our existing account?
Yes. We review it first, keep what works and fix what doesn’t. Your account history stays intact.
