Find out where you’re losing customers.

What does the review check?
It checks five things, each against your top three competitors on Google Maps:
- How you show up on Google Maps for the services you sell, and who’s beating you
- Whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity recommend you, or a competitor
- Your Google profile, reviews and ratings against your top competitors
- How fast your website loads on a phone, and whether it’s built to turn visitors into calls
- Whether your service page answers what customers ask, with facts your competitors don’t state
When we can’t measure something, the report says so. It never counts as a fail.

How is the dollar figure worked out?
It’s the business your searches already send to competitors, not a promise of what you’d gain. For each service:
- Monthly searches for the service in your metro (Google Ads data, 12-month average)
- × the share of your area where you’re not in the Google Maps top 3 (from the 25-point grid)
- × the share of searchers who pick a top-3 business (published click studies)
- × the share who then contact that business (published industry rates)
- × what a new customer is worth in their first year (published price data)
Every figure in the report links to its source. Local prices vary, and the estimate assumes each lead becomes a customer, so it’s the most those leads could be worth.
What can’t the review see?
- Your own search results. Google and AI answers change by person, place and day. We measure from fixed points at one moment.
- What happens after the click. We don’t see your calls, inbox, CRM or close rate. That’s what the 20-minute call is for.
- Your response time. The review doesn’t send test inquiries.
- Private data. We read public information only: your Google listing, public search results and your public web pages.
What is RootstockReviewBot?
RootstockReviewBot is the program that reads public web pages for a Root Cause Review. It identifies itself with a link to this page. For each review someone asks for, it reads that business’s home page, robots.txt and up to ten other pages, and the main pages of the three competitors it’s compared with. It doesn’t log in, fill in forms or crawl whole sites.
